Tracking the Short Tracks: Sunset Speedway Mini Stock Competitor Ken Townsend

The Mini Stocks are generally known for being a place for young teenagers to start their racing career. Though mixed in the fray are a group of older, veteran racers who still get their thrill from the lower-tier division. With these veterans mixed in, it can be a good thing as they teach the kids and help make them stronger competitors.

One of the veteran competitors in the Sunset Speedway Mini Stock class is Ken Townsend. Townsend may not be your top front runner every week, but he did reach victory lane once last season. So far this year, the pilot of the No. 21 Honda Civic has been solid, scoring three top 10s in the five features to date.
