As the 2014 race season nears closer in Ontario, Canada, tracks begin to release more details.
Sunset Speedway released their 2014 tentative schedule earlier this year, though there were dates that had not been announced yet. One of those dates was cleared up recently.
Track promoter Mark Dilley announced that on Thursday September 18th, Sunset Speedway will be hosting a Super Late Model invitational. The invitational will be 75 laps and open to both template and outlaw bodied cars. The night will be sponsored by International Plowing Night and ran in conjunction with the International Plowing competition happening in Barrie, Ontario from September 19th till September 21st.
The announcement came as part of an hour sit down interview that Spencer Lewis did with Dilley for his “Bench Racing” series on youtube. The interview also included Dilley discussing how he got started in racing, his career to date and how he got into track promotions.
