We raced our Quaker State, Lincoln Welders Modified on Sunday August 10th in front of the biggest crowd this season. We has been on a great streak of 3 consecutive top 4 feature finishes. Our strong performance moved us to 3rd in the OSCAAR Modified point standings. Today we padded our hold on third with a third place finish in our qualifying race and second in the 25 lap feature event.
This fast paved oval is set in the middle of Kawartha Downs horse track and is one of Ontario’s fastest racing surfaces with its long and wide straights and banked corners. We have done well at this track over the years and excellent today.

OSCCAR starter brought me the checker flag, not because I won, but so he could have a picture with me and holding the flag. Maybe soon I can hold it for real.
