Kyle Busch may have to start the truck race from the rear, but he will be starting the Sprint Cup Series MyAFibStory.com 400 on the pole after the line-up was set by the first practice speeds due to qualifying being rained out. Busch is hoping to get his Chase for the Sprint Cup off to a good start at Chicagoland Speedway after posting sub-par finishes the past two weeks.
Ryan Newman will start second, followed by Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Matt Kenseth.
Clint Bowyer will start sixth after missing the Chase, followed by Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Paul Menard and Kyle Larson.
