When you’re around the short tracks in Ontario, there are certain names that come to people’s mind, no matter how young or old the fan is. One of those names is Gary Elliott. Elliott has been racing for over 40 years, having success both behind the wheel of a Limited Late Model and a Canadian Vintage Modified. This year, though, Elliott went for a new challenge in the form of the OSCAAR Hanover Holiday Modifieds. Elliott has had success in his rookie year, currently sitting third in points with two events left on the schedule. While he hasn’t won a feature this year to date, Elliott has been close with a couple heat victories and a couple runner-up feature finishes.
While under a rain delay at Barrie Speedway’s Garry Reynolds Memorial last weekend, Elliott took the time to answer the 15 questions that make up our questionnaire.
