ADAMS Motorsports announced via their team facebook page that A.J Emms will drive the No. 99 Modified for the full OSCAAR Hanover Holiday Modified season in 2015.
“Well with 2015 season schedule announced and work on the #99 modified progressing nicely we have lots new things to be excited about new sponsors, new crew members and a new driver,” the post read. “Adams Motorsports welcomes AJ Emms to the team as full time driver for 2015 season.”
Emms ran the full Outlaw Modified Canada schedule in 2014, scoring the series championship that was highlighted by winning all three features at Full Throttle Motor Speedway one night. This will mark Emms’ first year as an OSCAAR Modified competitor, as he joins the ever-growing rookie class that includes former Supermodified competitor Mark Van Luven, former Delaware Super Stock driver Jeff Showler, former Delaware Late Model driver Jay Christie, former Peterborough thunder car competitors Dan Price and John Baker Jr., and former Peterborough Late Model pilot Corey Horner, among others
“Really excited for the 2015 racing season driving the number 99 Adams Motorsports OSCAAR Modified!” Emms posted via his facebook page. “Thanks to Allen Adams for the opportunity, hopefully we can turn some heads next season!”
Last year, Allen Adams had rookie Drew Stieler behind the wheel of their entry, in which Stieler posted some solid top-10 finishes throughout the year en route to finishing 11th, highlighted by a heat victory at Sauble Speedway.
ADAMS Motorsports welcomed fans to “stay tuned for more news as it becomes available”.
