BK Racing announced over the weekend that Johnny Sauter will drive the No. 83 Dustless Blasting Toyota Camry in the Daytona 500.
“We are very comfortable with our chances to race our No. 83 Dustless Blasting Camry into the Daytona 500 with Johnny behind the wheel. He has a lot of experience running upfront, a veteran in the sport and a loyal Toyota Racing driver,” Ron Devine, owner of BK Racing, said. “Regardless of the outcome of the Budweiser Duels, we look forward to working with Johnny on a select race schedule in 2015.”
A veteran of NASCAR, Sauter has made over 400 starts across the top three premiere series, with ten wins, 56 top-fives and 86 top-10s. Sauter is set to run the full NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule this season for ThorSprot Racing in search of his seventh straight top 10 points finish and first championship.
“I am excited to be joining the BK Racing team for the start of the 2015 NASCAR season,” Sauter commented. “I am thankful for the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the No. 83 Dustless Blasting Toyota, and compete with the top athletes in the motorsports industry. We are going to get out there and give it our all and hopefully come home with a good finish for this team and sponsor.”
Dustless Blasting will also sponsor three other races this year for BK Racing – both races at Talladega Superspeedway and Daytona in July.
“We’re very excited to continue our support of BK Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series,” Benny LeCompte, owner of MMLJ Inc., said. “Much like Johnny Sauter, Dustless Blasting has made a monumental rise over the last few years, and it has an extremely bright future ahead of it. We are excited to give our customers, many of whom are NASCAR fans, something to cheer for at the biggest race of year, the Daytona 500!”
