King Autosport announced today that Mario Gosselin will fill in for Martin Roy behind the wheel of the No. 90 Chevrolet in the Alert Today Florida 300 at the Daytona International Speedway. Roy is forced to step out of his ride due to an injury to his shoulder.
Gosselin normally serves as the team’s crew chief, but also has experience behind the wheel. He holds 50 career starts total across the NASCAR XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series, taking home two top-10 finishes.
“We have set ourselves a highly demanding task, both physically and financially,” Roy commented. “Mario and I are passionate about this sport, but we are also businessmen. We are convinced that our plan is realistic and vital to our credibility and success in the arena where we want to be: NASCAR.”
