On Thursday morning at Daytona International Speedway, only five drivers would take to the track during the practice session, with each just making single car runs.
Kyle Larson topped the charts in his No. 42 Target Chevrolet with a lap of 46.705 seconds. Larson is entering his second season of Sprint Cup Series competition after barely missing the Chase for the Championship in his rookie season.
Cole Whitt was second quickest in his No. 35 Speed Stick Ford, 0.487 seconds off of Larson. Whitt makes the shift from BK Racing to Front Row Motorsports for 2015.
Michael Annett was third quickest in his No. 46 Pilot/Flying J Chevrolet. He is in a back-up after wrecking during practice yesterday. Annett makes the shift to a brand new second car at HScott Motorsports for 2015.
JJ Yeley was fourth quickest in his No. 23 MAXIM Fantasy App/Dr. Pepper Toyota, followed by Jeb Burton in his No. 26 LiveDeal.com Download the App Toyota. Both drivers are running for BK Racing, and Burton is in a back-up after getting caught up in the wreck on Wednesday, as well.
The Budweiser Duels are scheduled to take place on Thursday February 19th with the green flag at 7:15 p.m. EST.
