After a solid season at Sauble Speedway, Morgan Robson is set to make his return to the track once again in hopes of more success. Robson isn’t your normal driver, as he became the first wheel-chair bound driver in the province when he made his debut two years at Sunset Speedway.
He made the switch to the Sauble Beach, Ontario based oval last year, finishing first in the Rookie Standings to win Rookie of the Year.
“Well last year was a pretty good season at Sauble Speedway,” he commented. “Got eighth in points and first in Rookie Points. So it was a pretty good.”
Robson will return to Sauble this year, in hopes of an better season behind the wheel of the No. 28 Midhurst Roofing Limited, Hurcles Sealing Products, Redline Signs and Apparel, London Recreational Racing, Simcoe Auto Recyclers and Hwy 400 Transmission Mustang.
“New car, new wrap, looking for a top five in points,” he commented. “(Also) looking to maybe running Flamboro speedway, Full Throttle Motor Speedway and Peterborough Speedway this year.”
Robson will have his mustang on display at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show at the International Center. The Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show takes place from March 13th to 15th and will feature some of the top individuals in both the car enthusiast and motorsports industry.
