Plow Boys Racing announced that Brent McLean will run the full OSCAAR Super Late Model season in 2015 in hopes of scoring his first Super Late Model feature win. He will also run select OSCAAR Modified events, such as the Rick Woolner Memorial and Autumn Colors Classic, while running in select SST events in New York.
McLean has ran the OSCAAR Modified tour the past couple of seasons, finishing second in points in 2012 and 2013. Last year, the season wouldn’t go as he hoped with mechanical issues plaguing him along the way, resulting in a ninth place finish points. McLean did end the year on a high note, though, winning the Autumn Colors Classic after a late race duel with Max Beyore.
“I was sick to my stomach in what could happen,” McLean commented following the Autumn Colors Classic. “I just wanted it over with our luck for this year. I didn’t know what way it’d go. I may have run him a little high, but it’s the Classic and I wanted it badly.”
McLean ran a couple of events throughout the year in the Super Late Model division, scoring a couple top 10 finishes along the way.
Plow Boys Racing also announced that Brian McLean has plans to again run a full OSCAAR modified schedule. McLean finished eighth in points with a season-high third place finish at Sunset Speedway in June.
