ST: Barrie Speedway Rookie of the Year Jordan Latimer to be part of Motorama Younggun Panel

Motorama Young Guns Panel Host Spencer Lewis announced on Tuesday, March 10th via Inside Track Motorsports News that Jordan Latimer will be part of the show’s Young Guns Panel.

The Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show takes place from March 13th to 15th at the International Center and will feature some of the top individuals in both the car enthusiast and motorsports industry. The Younggun Panel was always a highlight of the Canadian Motorsports Expo, featuring the top young drivers speaking about their racing experience to date.

Last season, Latimer ran the full Thunder car division at Barrie Speedway, having a stellar season that saw him finish in the top-five in points with a victory mid-season. As a result, he would be awarded the 2014 Barrie Speedway Rookie of the Year Award. The third generation driver will move up to the Late Model division in 2015, running the full schedule at Sunset Speedway.

Latimer will be joined on the panel by 14-year-old modified driver Dustin Jackson, Sunset Speedway Mini Stock competitor Jordan Howse, and Ohsweken Speedway Crate Sprint Car feature winner Aaron Turkey. The other two panelists are set to be announced in the coming days.
