As part of the Short Track Night of Champions at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, the 2014 Brighton Speedway champions were honored for their accomplishments.
Charlie Sandercock was on hand to pick up his award honors for winning the championship in the Late Model division, who would score the most victories on the season and beat Phill Potts by 195 points.
“We had a really good season,” Sandercock commented. “I want to thank my team for helping me along the way. If it wasn’t for the guys in the shop, we wouldn’t have had the results that we had.”
Ryan Scott had a consistent year en route to scoring the Canadian Modified Championship, 55 points ahead of Dan Ferguson.
“It was a great season,” Scott shared. “We had a series of top-five finishes and were consistent.”
Rich Sanders was on hand to accept honors for the Comp 4 championship, as well as Del MacGregor, who won the Stingers Championship.
