Sylvania 300
New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Loudon, N.H.
Brett Moffitt | No. 34 Dockside Logistics Ford
“We were really strong at Loudon the first race, so I’m looking forward to getting back. We ran out of fuel on one run a couple laps before we were going to come in. We had been running inside the top 25, right around 20th, all day by ourselves. So, I think we would’ve had a good finish there, maybe even a top-20. I think when we go back, we can take what we learned and make it even a little bit better.”

Cole Whitt | No. 35 Taco Bell Ford
“Loudon is one of those tracks that I can’t use my sprint car racing background on, so I have to learn how to find speed. It’s a different type of driving style. It’s a lot of rolling and braking and just knowing how not to over-slow the car — and not over-drive the car at the same time. That’s a fine line right there. You’ve got to be right in the middle and you’ve got to be perfect. It takes a lot of finesse.”
JUST THE FACTS: Whitt has three Sprint Cup career starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway … His best finish is 28th (2014 and 2015) … Taco Bell returns as primary sponsor of the No. 35 Ford.
David Gilliland | No. 38 MDS Transport Ford
“Loudon is a challenge for sure. We had a good day there two months ago when we were there, but it’s been probably one of my least favorite tracks that we go to. It’s flat, and it seems like the corners last forever. To look at it from the stands, the corners look wide. It looks like you can run four- or five-wide. But the variable banking throughout the corner makes it really challenging, and it actually races really, really narrow. But we did pretty well in the first race this year, and we’ll look to improve on that even more this second time back.”
JUST THE FACTS: Gilliland has 17 Sprint Cup starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway … He recorded his best career finish at the one-mile oval (21st) in July … MDS Transport returns as primary sponsor of the No. 38.
