Time to overcome adversity: After sustaining a concussion in last weekend’s NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race at Kentucky Speedway, Eric McClure has been cleared to race in Dover. This weekend’s Hisense 200 will be McClure’s 15th career start at the mile that’s “too tough to tame”. In McClure’s 14 previous starts at the Monster Mile, he has secured eight top-25 finishes. His spring 2009 efforts posted a best start of 18th and a best finish of 23rd. McClure is ready to rally in the Reynolds Wrap® Camry, as he continues to overcome any obstacle that crosses his path.
McClure’s thoughts on Dover International Speedway: “I want to thank everyone for their concern and support over the past couple of days. I am thankful to have rebounded so quickly and I am excited to race this weekend in Dover.”
