Surviving the chaos in the early laps and battling hard through the end of the race, Travis Hallyburton would lead the way to the checkered flag to score the Autumn Colours Classic victory at Peterborough Speedway.

Following qualifying through the weekend, Rick Walt would start pole ahead of Steve Foster, Lane Zardo, Nick Goetz, Travis Hallyburton, Taylor Holdaway, Jason Parker, Tom Walters, Ryan Kimball, Mike Bentley, Thayne Hallyburton, Mike Westwood, Bryan Sudsbury, Paul Maltese, Chris Mitchell, Steve Munroe, Amanda Connolly, Dario Capirchio, Anthony DiBello, Alvin McNicol, Jack Horner, Frank Davey and Dave Bartlett.
Walt would grab the early advantage ahead of Zardo and Travis Hallyburton, but the caution would fly for an incident on the frontstretch. Foster would spin and in the check-up behind him, Kimball would end up with the right side of his car on top of the left side of Holdaway’s car. Kimball was able to continue, while Holdaway was done for the night.
The second attempt at starting the race resulted in a second caution for a pile-up in turn three and four involving Goetz, Maltese, Munroe, Gresel, Connolly, Westwood, Mitchell, McNicol and Capirchio. The wreck was started by Goetz going around. With not a single lap counted, Walt led Zardo, Travis Hallyburton, Parker, Bentley, Thayne Hallyburton, Sudsbury and Connolly.
Zardo would get the lead on the restart with Travis getting alongside Walt for second, but the caution would fly for a third time for McNicol spinning Horner.
The fourth attempt would be the magic attempt with Zardo leading ahead of Travis Hallyburton and Walt. Travis would then get alongside Zardo for the lead, taking the top spot on lap four. Zardo would run second ahead of Bentley and Walt. Bentley would then get alongside Zardo for second, completing the pass on lap six. Zardo would run third ahead of Walt, Thayne Hallyburton, Parker and Sudsbury.
The fourth caution would then fly on lap nine for Horner spinning on the frontstretch. With 66 laps to go, Travis Hallyburton led Bentley, Zardo, Walt, Thayne Hallyburton, Parker, Sudsbury, Capirchio, Kimball, Walters, Connolly, Foster, Goetz, Davey, Maltese and DiBello.
The first attempt at a restart resulted in the fifth caution as Thayne Hallyburton would have a flat tire in turn four releasing a shower of sparks, resulting in Sudsbury getting into Parker and Connolly hitting Walters in trying to avoid Hallyburton. The second attempt brought forth another caution as Bentley would spin, collecting Kimball in the process.
The third attempt equaled the seventh caution as there was debris in turn four. Connolly would then pull off of the track, done for the night. With 66 laps to go, Travis Hallyburton led Zardo, Walt, Parker, Capirchio, Foster, Davey, Walters, DiBello, Bentley, Gresel, Sudsbury, Thayne Hallyburton and Bartlett.
The fourth attempt would go cleanly with Travis Hallyburton leading Zardo, Parker, Walt, Capirchio, Goetz, Foster, Walters, Bentley and Davey. Goetz would then get by Capirchio for fifth on lap 15, followed by a pass on Walt for fourth a lap later.
Parker would then get alongside Zardo for second at lap 17. The pair would battle for the spot till the caution flew at lap 19 for Walt going around. With 57 laps to go, Travis Hallyburton led Goetz, Parker, Capirchio, Zardo, Bentley, Davey, Walters, Sudsbury, Gresel and Kimball.
The first attempt brought forth the ninth caution as Bartlett would spin, collecting Maltese and Horner. The second attempt would go cleanly with Travis Hallyburton leading Parker and Goetz. Goetz would then get by Parker for second on lap 22, with Bentley following suit two laps later. Parker would now run fourth ahead of Zardo and Capirchio.
At the front of the field, Goetz would take the lead at lap 26 ahead of Travis Hallyburton, Bentley, Parker, Goetz, Capirchio as Maltese headed down pit road. Walters would run seventh ahead of Sudsbury, Davey and Kimball. Bentley would then get by Travis for second at lap 29, while Walt moved up into 11th ahead of Thayne Hallyburton.
Steve Foster would then head down pit road at lap 32 after contact with Gresel, while Horner would spin on the backstretch at lap 40 with no caution. Bartlett would then run into issues at lap 44, heading down pit road. The caution would then fly five laps later for Sudsbury getting into DiBello, sending him around. With 27 laps to go, Goetz led Bentley, Travis Hallyburton, Parker, Zardo, Capirchio, Walters, Walt, Davey, Kimball and Thayne Hallyburton.
The first attempt brought forth the 11th caution as Horner would go around in turn one. Horner would get the black flag, done for the race under the three cautions policy.
The second attempt was cleaner with Goetz continuing to lead Travis Hallyburton, Zardo and Walt. Bentley would then go for a slide through the grass at lap 64, knocking him back some spots. The caution would then fly two laps later as Davey would spin Thayne Hallyburton, with Gresel getting collected in the process. With 10 laps to go, Goetz led Travis Hallyburton, Zardo, Walt, Parker, Walters, Sudsbury, Kimball, Foster, Davey and Capirchio.
With the laps ticking down, Goetz seemed to have the car to win the event. However, coming off of turn two, he would spin out. Travis Hallyburton would slow looking to avoid, handing the advantage to Zardo. Zardo would get by him going in turn three and four, but the caution would fly for a stopped car on the track.
Travis Hallyburton would get a good final restart and lead the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory ahead of Lane Zardo, Tom Walters, Jason Parker, Rick Walt, Bryan Sudsbury, Frank Davey, Steve Foster, Ryan Kimball, Dario Capirchio, Nick Goetz, Steve Munroe and Alvin McNicol.
