Simon Pagenaud, driver of the No.22 PPG Automotive Finishes Chevrolet was the fastest in morning warm up ahead of the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama with a 01:08.021. Graham Rahal, driver of the No.15 Steak and Shake Honda, was second and the fastest Honda of warm up with a 01:08.085.
Chevy Drivers Scott Dixon, Will Power and Sebastian Bourdias were third through fifth, followed by Honda drivers Mikhail Aleshin, Marco Andretti and Jack Hawksworth. Rounding out the top ten was another Chevy driver Tony Kannan.
Andretti Autosport driver, Carlos Munoz had an electrical issue that affected his shifting and took the car to the garage where the crew was able to fix the issue and get him back on track to run some laps in the final stages of warm up.
