Despite going for a spin early in the feature, Chris Howse ended the night on a high with his car parked in victory lane.
Bobby Mercer started pole ahead of Nick Troback, Shawn Arnott, Howse, Brad Collison and Austin Penney. Troback grabbed the early lead, bringing Howse through with him. Howse was looking set to make his move, when he’d go around for the spin.
Troback got a good restart to maintain the lead ahead of Collison, Arnott, Mercer and Howse. Troback began to spread out the lead, and looked destined for victory lane till he’d stop with a problem with five laps to go in turn four.
The final restart saw a battle between Arnott and Collison for the lead, with contact happening that resulted in Collison going around. Collison was able to get back going, without a caution flag. Meanwhile, Arnott was then blackflagged by race officials for rough driving, handing the lead over Howse.
Chris Howse was able to put together a string of solid laps, scoring the victory. Brad Collison got back to second followed by Austin Penney, Shawn Arnott and Bobby Mercer.
