After a back and forth duel which lasted all race, it’d be Taylor Holdaway picking up the victory in the Sauble Falls Tent and Trailer Park Late Model feature at Sunset Speedway.

The restart saw a continuation of the battle for the lead with Hallyburton taking the top spot behind the wheel of the No. 39 HILLSDALE SERVICE CENTER, KNIGHTWORKS Design Late Model. Meanwhile, mid-pack, Billy Zardo tagged the back of Walters, but Walters was able to keep going with no issue.

With 29 laps to go, Hallyburton led Holdaway, Goetz, Shepherd, Maltese, Cronan, Baker, Thayne Hallyburton, Zardo, Walters, Kimball, Benedict, Inglis and Isherwood.
The first restart was waved off as a result of Holdaway jumping. The second restart was clean, with Holdaway and Travis Hallyburton side-by-side for the top spot. Holdaway cleared Hallyburton on Lap 8, but Hallyburton wasn’t really to concede defeat as he tagged the back of Holdaway.
The battle was paused, though, as a result of the fourth caution Lap 8 due to Thayne Hallyburton blowing a motor. With 27 laps to go, Holdaway led Travis Hallyburton, Shepherd, Goetz, Maltese, Cronan, Baker, Zardo, Walters, Kimball, Benedict, Inglis, Isherwood, Wilkinson and Lane Zardo.

Goetz then got alongside Shepherd for third a lap later, set to continue his climb forward. However, the caution flew as a result of Cronan stopping in turn four with a mechanical problem. With 22 laps to go, Hallyburton led Holdaway, Goetz, Shepherd, Maltese, Baker, Billy Zardo, Kimball, Inglis, Walters, Benedict and Lane Zardo.

Behind them, it was Shepherd and Goetz side-by-side for third ahead of Baker, Maltese and Billy Zardo. Unfortunately, a move to get underneath Shepherd going into turn three didn’t work out for Goetz as he got loose, looping the car around, collecting Zardo and Inglis in the process. While Inglis and Zardo were able to continue, Goetz was done for the event.
The restart saw the top-two side-by-side once again, with Holdaway gaining the advantage ahead of Hallyburton at Lap 19 ahead of Baker, Shepherd, Maltese and Zardo. The caution was frequent in this event, though, as the seventh caution flew for McWhirter spinning in turn four on Lap 20. With 15 laps to go, Holdaway led Hallyburton, Baker, Shepherd, Maltese, Zardo, Inglis, Kimball, Lane Zardo, Benedict, Walters, Morrow, Gresel and Wilkinson.
The restart saw Holdaway and Hallyburton once again battle side-by-side as Shepherd moved up into third ahead of Baker, Maltese and Billy Zardo. Inglis made his way up to sixth ahead of Lane Zardo and Kimball as Benedict and Morrow ran side-by-side for ninth ahead of Walters.
While the battle for the lead continued, Baker managed to get alongside Shepherd for third, though fell back in line at Lap 32 as he was unable to secure the spot. Instead, Maltese was able to get alongside Baker for fourth.
At the front of the field, the pair remained side-by-side till they came up on the lap car of Mike Meyer on the white flag lap, which allowed Holdaway to squeeze by down the backstretch. He then led the rest of the way en route to picking up the win.
