Brandon Jones led the way in Friday Afternoon’s final practice session for tomorrow’s Drive for Safety 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. Jones piloted his No.33 Tide/Menards Chevrolet around the 1.5 mile oval in a time of 30.352 seconds (177.912 MPH).
Erik Jones was second .150 seconds behind, with Daniel Suarez was third followed by Kyle Busch and Brennan Poole.
Justin Allgaier, Ty Dillon, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Larson, and Blake Koch rounded out the top ten on the speed chart.
Notables include: Elliott Sadler 11th, Paul Menard 12th, Joey Logano 13th, Ryan Reed 15th, Darrell Wallace Jr. 16th, and Brendan Gaughan 17th.
