Kyle Larson was the fastest man in Dover during this morning’s first cup Series practice for Sunday’s Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover International Speedway.
Larson ran a quick time of 21.742 seconds (165.578 MPH). Carl Edwards was second just .060 seconds off the pace set by Larson.
Matt Kenseth was third followed by Ryan Newman and Jimmie Johnson.
Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, and Martin Truex Jr. rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: Kurt Busch 11th, Joey Logano 12th, Jamie McMurray 16th, Brad Keselowski 19th, Kevin Harvick 20th, Tony Stewart 24th, Kyle Busch 28th, and Chris Buescher 31st.
