(Lucan ON) One of the challenges that short track driver Trevor Collver signed up for in 2015 was the hectic schedule of driving two race cars in two different series and often at two different race tracks on the same weekend. Collver pilots both a Ground Masters Super Stock at Delaware Speedway most Friday nights, and a Pro Late Model in the APC United Late Model Tour. This weekend that very challenge will occur and the 20 year old Electrician will be up on the wheel for both events.
Ground Masters Super Stock #1 –Delaware Speedway Friday June 5 2014
Event two on the Delaware Speedway has the Ground Masters Super Stock division as the headlining act on Friday evening. Collver struggled opening night with some serious chassis issues and worked 50+ hours after normal working hours to make major adjustments to improve the performance of the #1 Carter Trucking/Inventory Express/Champion Spark Plugs Camaro. The team is confident they have sorted out the concerns and are excited to make a run for checkers in this Friday’s event. Delaware Speedway Gates open at 6:00pm with racing at 7:30. Race fans are encouraged to come to the pit area after the events are completed to meet the driver and get an autograph.
APC United Late Model Tour – Flamboro Speedway – June 6 2015
Round 2 of the APC United Late Model Tour invades the tight confines of the Flamboro Speedway this weekend. Gold Racing driver Trevor Collver has confirmed entry for this round after a disappointing first outing at Sunset Speedway for the inaugural race. The Bordertown Classics/Inventory Express #97 Chevrolet will be prepared for the 100 lap event Saturday evening with expectations to compete for a strong finish. Crew Chief Stephen Richmond has dialed in the race car for what promises to be one of the toughest races on the tour. Qualifying by time trials begins at 5:00pmand the 100 Lap Main event rolls off at 8:00pm.
