David Starr to Make First NXS Start at Michigan International Speedway: David Starr will make his first NASCAR XFINITY Series start this weekend at the Great Escape in the Irish Hills. Although this will be Starr’s first NXS appearance at Michigan International Speedway, Starr has 12 previous starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series where he obtained two top-5’s,and five top-10’s. Starr has turned over 1,100 laps at the two-mile, D-shaped oval. After an off weekend, Starr is looking forward to getting back on track this weekend.
Starr’s thoughts on Michigan International Speedway: “I’m looking forward to jumping back in to the Zachry Toyota Camry after our week off. We brought home a top-15 finish in Dover and I’m hoping the No.44 team will have another strong run at Michigan International Speedway.”
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Greg Conner and the No. 44 Zachry crew will unload chassis No. 676 at Michigan International Speedway. This chassis’ last run was at Bristol Motor Speedway.
