Will Power, driver of the No. 12 Verizon Chevrolet, was the fastest in the third practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis. He had the time of 1:09.3189.
Power’s Teammates Juan Pablo Montoya and Simon Pagenaud were second and third fastest with the times of 1:09.3314 (Montoya) and 1:09.4248 (Pagenaud). Even with his ride in the grass Scott Dixon, driver of the No.9 Target Chevrolet, ended up fourth. Takuma Sato, Ryan Hunter Reay, Grahama Rahal, Carlos Munoz, Tony Kannan and Sebastien Bourdais rounded up the rest of the top-10.
There were only two incidents during the practice as Mikhail Aleshin spun to go with Dixon’s incident.
