For the second straight week in a row, Terry Woodley finished in the top-five as he completed Saturday night in the fifth spot.
Woodley started off the night by finishing third in his heat, followed by a ninth place finish in the Fast Qualifier’s Dash.
Come feature time, he’d start the 25-lap affair from the eighth position. He’d escape the first lap crash involving four of his competitors without any damage, keeping his ride clean as it has been since the first race of the year.
He’d immediately begin to make up ground, running seventh at Lap 3, eventually making the pass on Chris Allard to move up to the sixth spot.
Woodley kept himself solidly in the sixth position as that’s where he crossed the finish line. However, he was scored in fifth by officials post-race as one of the top-five finishers was DQ’d.
Notably, Woodley has posted 17 straight top-10 finishes dating all the way back to last season, and now two straight top-five finishes.
