Brian Scott Tops Practice as Kyle Busch Crashes

After practice was rained out yesterday, NASCAR made the decision to run an hour session this morning to allow teams to get laps on the track.

Rookie Brian Scott topped the speed charts with a lap of 45.147 seconds as he looks for his first top-10 of the season. Austin Dillon was second, followed by Brad Keselowski, Ryan Blaney and David Gilliland.

The session didn’t go well for everyone as Kyle Busch blew a tire, hitting the wall with heavy damage. He was okay, but will have to go to a back-up car.
