Yeley Seeking Redemption: JJ Yeley and the No. 44 Zachry team are gearing up for another Friday night NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) race. Coming off of strong run, with a disappointing last lap incident in Daytona, Yeley is seeking redemption this weekend at the Sparta, Kentucky based venue. Having nine previous NXS starts at the1.5-mile, tri-oval, Yeley has earned one top-five and two top-ten finishes. He claimed the pole position at the July 2015 event when rain cancelled qualifying and the pole was awarded based on practice results. With a best finish of second at Kentucky Speedway, JJ Yeley is eager to get back into the seat of the Zachry Toyota for the Alsco 300.
No. 44 Zachry Toyota: Crew Chief Frank Kerr and the No. 44 Zachry team will unload chassis No.TSM 1002 at Kentucky Speedway.
JJ Yeley: “Kentucky is one of great 1.5 mile race tracks on our schedule. I’ve always ran well at Kentucky. It has a great combination of speed and character. It will be interesting to see how the new surface will change the way we race there now. The facility is first class and the fans have always been very supportive of NASCAR. I let my first win slip away at Kentucky and this weekend would be a great time to go get it back.”
