Brad Keselowski was the fastest man in town during Saturday Afternoon’s final Sprint Cup practice for tomorrow night’s Bojangles’ Southern 500.
Keselowski piloted his No.2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion around the 1.366 mile oval in a time of 28.157 seconds (174.649 MPH). Keselowski’s lap was a full tenth of a second faster than Kurt Busch, who finished second.
Jimmie Johnson was third followed by: Kasey Kahne and Paul Menard rounded out the top five.
Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Denny Hamlin, and Trevor Bayne rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: Ryan Blaney 11th, Chase Elliott 12th, Kyle Larson 13th, Jeff Gordon 14th, Martin Truex Jr. 15th, Austin Dillon 16th, Tony Stewart 18th, Kevin Harvick 19th, Joey Logano 22nd, Jamie McMurray 24th, Matt Kenseth 28th, and Kyle Busch 29th.
Biffle had the best ten lap race average in final practice followed by: Truex, Johnson, Kahne, and Edwards rounded out the top five.
