Crossville Raceway PR
Last week Crossville Raceway announced their Salute to the Class of 2008 with a special FREE admission racing program for students of both Cumberland County High School and Stone Memorial High School on Friday May 30th.
Today we are stepping that program up to the next level to allow the students to show their school spirit on Race Night, as we take the program closer to home for the students. A special, Exhibition Race will take place during the intermission in which SMHS Freshman Jessie Lowe will bring his #5 Pro Street Monte Carlo to challenge CCHS Teacher Brandon Williams and his #0 Late Model Sportsman to a 5 lap, no holds barred race. Williams is a seasoned veteran of the high banked Clay Oval with a proven record, Lowe is a relative newcomer to the track who has taken the Pro street class by storm.
Show your school spirit as we encourage all SMHS & CCHS students to show your school colors and spirit in a fun exhibition show. When the winner is determined, the students from the school of the winner will be invited to join their driver for a group photo on the front stretch.
Remember, admission is FREE for all students of these two schools, simply display your school ID, 2008 Diploma, Report Card or a Class Schedule at the Grandstand Gate.
Gates open at 5 pm (CT) with hot laps at 6:30 and racing to begin at 7:30 pm. General Admission $10 – Seniors $8 – 6-10 yrs $5 – 5 & under Free – Tier $15 – Pits $25
