INNISFIL, Ont. – On Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Brian Love battled hard all night, winning the second consolation race before finishing 16th in the feature.
Love started off the night by finishing seventh in his heat after barely missing the first lap wreck, forcing him to run the second consolation race. Love got through the first lap mayhem in that race to take over the lead and never looked back, taking the victory and qualifying for the main event.
Starting mid-pack in the feature, Love would get himself up to the 12th spot by the second caution at lap five. From that point on, Love continued to battle hard against some of the top Mini Stock drivers in the province, though would go a lap down to leader Brandon McFerran with seven laps to go before finishing 16th.
Special thanks to Fox’s Bakery and Deli, Eckhart Auto Sales, Tire Depot Barrie, The Stone Grille Restaurant and Bar, Chico Bins + Disposal and Garry Mercer Trucking Incorporated for their continued support.
