It has been announced that Darlington Raceway is moving it NASCAR Sprint Cup date to April from May. Citing several reasons for the move including, average temperature/weather, track officials also pointed out that the new date will allow college students to attend the event before leaving for their summer break. The Bojangles Southern 500 weekend will now be April 11-12, 2014.
