May 15, 2014 – London, Ontario – Ryan Litt and his BS&B Radiator racing team started their 2014 season down south last month, and they’re ready to get back on the track “back home again” in Indiana this weekend.
The #07L team’s season started at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida on April 11, where Ryan qualified 3rd overall, and finished 4th in the feature race. The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Car series moved to Mobile, Alabama the following night, where Ryan qualified 4th, but didn’t finish the feature after contact with a car in front of him which had blown a right rear tire. The Must See Racing series awards points for qualifying, heat races, and features, so Ryan was able to emerge from the Southern Shootout weekend 4th in the championship standings, 22 markers behind leader Brian Gerster.
Ryan and the team are ready to get back in action this Saturday, May 17 at the Summit City Showdown at Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A busy week will follow, with the 66th annual Little 500 at Anderson Speedway set for Saturday, May 24. The Must See Racing 60 starts the on-track activities for the Little 500 Festival at Anderson on Wednesday, May 21, followed by Pole Day qualifying on Thursday, May 22, and Bump Day on Friday, May 23.
Ryan has competed in 8 Little 500 events, with 3 top 5 finishes and 5 top 10′s. He led 135 laps of the grueling 500 lap distance in 2008 on his way to a career-best 4th place. Ryan and the team are definitely looking forward to being back at Anderson this year, after they stayed home from the 2013 event due to an illness in the family.
