By: Ashley McCubbin – Coming off of a season-high third place feature finish last weekend, hopes were high to continue the positive momentum this weekend. However, a motor issue during practice would sideline Sean Cronan and team for the rest of the night.
In the first four events this season, Cronan’s only finish outside of the top 10 was the May 10th Pro Late Model 100 lap event, where he finished 13th after setting quick time in time trials.
The Cronan Motorsports team will be looking into the issue this week and everything is pointed towards being set to go for June 14th, which marks the fourth regular night of racing at Sunset Speedway this season.
