What Won the race: Gary Mclean used a lap twenty seven restart to claim first place and record his second feature event win in 2014. Race long leader #36 of Gary Elliott said there was nothing he could do, he lost his power steering and on the restart did not want to push up into McLean. Gary would have loved to win the feature but was happy with his best career OSCAAR finish on his 697th consecutive night of racing. Max Beyore kept his podium streak alive with a third place finish, on his first ever trip to Barrie Speedway.
Drivers on the Move: #79 John Harper started the feature event in fourteenth position. When the checker flag waved John had moved up eight positions to finish sixth. Andre Peppin made his first ever modified start in the George Woods owned #34 and was able to claim a fifth place finish after starting the event in 10th.
Bad Luck of the Event: Rookie of the year contender #99 Drew Stieler continues to have bad racing luck. Drew was the innocent victim in a late race crash that saw the team suffered major damage yet again. #88r Tommy Robb was also involved and suffered a sprained wrist and thumb. Brian McLean appeared to be ready to record a top five finish but a late race spin placed the #47 deep in the field.
Rookie Battle: Seven Hanover Holiday Modified Rookies where in attendance. The top rookie of the event was the #36 of Gary Elliott who finished second. #91N Max Beyore was second highest rookie followed by #26 Terry Baker, #61 Dustin Jackson, #88r Tommy Robb and #99 Drew Stieler
