Gardner Denver 200 Fired Up by Johnsonville: Road America

McClure Returns to No. 14 Camry: Eric McClure will return to the cockpit of the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry this weekend after a two-week hiatus. Saturday’s Gardner Denver 200 will mark McClure’s 238th-career NASCAR Nationwide Series start and his fifth at the historic four-mile, 14-turn road course in Elkhart Lake, Wis.. In four starts, the Virginia native has completed 95.8% of the total laps attempted and has an average finish of 25.5. Last season McClure finished 27th after starting 35th.
Chassis No. 5: Crew Chief Wes Ward has selected chassis No. 5 for this weekend’s event at Road America. This chassis was last used at Iowa Speedway where McClure posted a 24th-place finish.
Fun Factoid about McClure: Did you know that McClure is a huge University of Virginia athletics fan? Although the 35-year-old has a different collegiate alma mater, he’s been an avid Cavalier’s fan since he can remember. He’s had season tickets for nearly a decade in football and has been to several basketball games as the schedule allows. With all this being said, don’t be surprised if all of his tweets this weekend are about his beloved Cavaliers who are playing in the 2014 College World Series in Omaha.

Tune-In: Saturday’s Gardner Denver 200 Presented by Johnsonville will be televised live on ABC beginning at 2:30pm (ET). MRN and Sirius Channel 90 will also broadcast the event live. Qualifying will also take place on Saturday and will be televised on ESPN 2 at 11:30am (ET).
