INNISFIL, Ont. – Despite fuel pump issues to start the night, Lisa DeLeeuw would battle hard all night to qualify for the 25-lap feature and finish 22nd in her second night of the season.
DeLeeuw would start off the first heat in the ninth spot and battled hard, though fell short of finishing in a qualifying spot due to fuel pump issues. The DY Racing team would work to rectify the issue before the b-main, and did so as DeLeeuw was able to finish seventh and qualify for the main event.
Starting in the 10th spot, she would battle hard throughout the whole feature against some of the top Mini Stock drivers in province on her way to finishing 22nd.
