After a short nights sleep, the #86 team were up to load the car and depart for the two hour drive north to Sauble Speedway where another blistering hot day was forecast. The track was very slippery during the first practice session from the racing garden tractors that were practicing on the inside dirt track and they had covered the track with a layer of dust. Billy did not really get a good feel for how the car was handling during the practice session so no adjustments were made. In the second and final practice, the track was clean and Billy was pretty happy with the cars set-up as they had replicated what had proved to be a winning set-up from the previous two races that produced wins at the track for the team.
Billy started 8th in the first of two heat races where he would line up beside the #36 of Corry Young, who had also raced very hard against Billy the previous night at Full Throttle Motor Speedway. Billy had worked his way up to 5th at the half way point in the ten lap race that was being lead by the #71followed by the #73, #1 and #17. On the final lap, Billy made the pass on the #17, Spira Fire Protection sponsored car of Kevin Bridge to finish 4th. For the second heat race, Billy started on the pole beside the #36 and after four laps of great side by side racing, Billy moved out front, where he stayed for the win, followed by the #36, #1 and #17.
The #86 machine that continues to race for charity by donating all winnings this season, equally between Guelph Wish Fund for Children and Victim Services-Wellington that were proudly displayed on the hood of the car, lined up to start the 20 lap feature in 7th. With the car dialed in, it did not take long for Billy to pilot his way towards the front as he was up to 4th on the second lap, behind the #1, #36 and #6. On the 4th lap, Billy was up to 3rd and then on the 8th, moved inside the #36 to take over 2nd but was well behind the #1 who was leading the race. At the halfway point, Billy was slowly gaining on the #1, however both driver and crew were wishing that they had more laps to track him down. Within five laps, Billy gained on the #1 and was on his bumper, however the laps were quickly ticking away as the two ran very fast laps around the track. With just two laps remaining, Billy drove the car deep into the corner and got inside the #1 for a final side by side shoot out to the checkered flag that waved for Billy as he took the win.
With the second feature win in as many nights and the third in a row at Sauble Speedway, a tired #86 team headed back to Guelph to ready the car for the Chase for the Colours event at Peterborough Speedway the following day.
