(Grand Bend ON) There has been quite the run of success lately at Grand Bend Speedway in the London Drive System’s 4Fun 4 Cylinder class. Exeter ON driver Kenny McNicol Jr (#17) has taken all the checkered flags this year on the ¼ mile Bull Ring, and appears unstoppable. That is of course until Speedway officials offered up a Bounty on him.
Starting this coming Saturday, any driver that can successfully win the feature race and defeat McNicol on the track fairly and squarely, will win an additional $250 for their efforts. A handful of drivers have shown some strength thus far in 2014 and could play the role of spoiler in McNicols steam rolling campaign. Stve Lovie, Derek Moesker, Nathan Tabak, and Mike Harris have all come up short, but made valiant efforts in attempts to steal McNicol’s thunder.
The weekend’s race card also includes the Jr. and Sr. division of the OK Tire London South B Mirco Sprints, the Tommy’s Motors A Micro Sprints, Broadway Service Junior Late Model. And the Mike & Terri’s NoFrills JCAR Mini Trucks.
Race fans are encouraged to spend the day in the fabulous beach town of Grand Bend, spend the evening at the Race track and finish off your weekend in our campground.
