Sean Cronan finishes fourth in Late Model feature at Sunset Speedway

INNISFIL, Ontario – Starting near the front, Sean Cronan would battle all feature race long en route to posting a fourth place feature finish.

The night started off by Cronan finishing fourth in his heat, to automatically qualify for the feature and the Dash for Cash. Staring near the back in the Dash, Cronan and team took the conservative approach in staying out of trouble while working more on the car to improve the handling, posting a ninth place finish.

Come feature time, Cronan would start in the fourth spot and began to make his way up through the field, getting by Dario Capirchio for third on a lap three restart. Cronan remained third through the next couple of cautions for the first half of the event.

As he got into the second half of the feature, though, the tires would start to fall off and as a result, Bentley would get by Cronan with about 12 laps to go. Cronan would then hold off a strong charge by Chris Morrow in the final six laps to post a fourth place finish.
