Billy and his crew changed the rear end gears from what was required at the larger Delaware Speedway the previous night, to those required at the much shorter Sunset Speedway. Samantha and Jake had their cars in the trailers the previous night, so as soon as the #86 team had the car in the trailer, three cars departed for Sunset Speedway. Scott would not be making the trip as he would be getting his car changed over from Delaware to join Billy the following day at Sauble Speedway as Samantha and Jake would return to Sunset to run a regular night of racing that was rescheduled due to a past rained out event.
Samantha and Billy struggled with handling issues throughout the practice sessions and although Sam and her crew gained on their issues, Billy and his crew were not having much success with getting rid of the push up the track in the centre of the corners. Billy was the lone Spira/Dominion Sure Seal car in the first heat, where he would start 6th. On the first lap, the ill handling car broke loose and then snapped back, however Billy was able to save it from going around and gathered it up to continue without contact. From the back of the field, Billy managed to move forward throughout the 10 lap race and brought the car home in 4th, putting him into the dash for cash. Samantha and Jake were in the 3rd heat race, where Jake started 2nd and Sam 7th. The two Spira cars were side by side on the 2nd lap and Samantha moved up to 2nd as Jake fell back to 5th at the half way mark. With two laps remaining, the #72 would slide up the track and into the side of Samantha, causing her to spin out, bringing out the caution and putting both of them to the back of the field for the restart. Jake restarted 3rd and through the final two laps, would fall back to finish 6th as Samantha moved forward to finish 5th, putting both of them into the consi.
Samantha started 3rd and Jake 6th for the 10 lap race, where Sam finished 1st as Jake won a side by side battle with the #31for 2nd. Billy and his crew were still struggling with an ill handling car as he lined up for the dash for cash and despite the car still not responding to the changes, Billy managed to drive the car forward from 10th to finish 2nd.
26 cars lined up for the 25 lap feature with Samantha starting 3rd, Jake 8th and Billy 10th. Sam moved into the lead on the first lap and help the position throughout the first 14 laps until the caution came out, where Billy would restart 4rd and Jake 10th. With ten laps remaining, the #72 would take over the lead from Samantha as Billy ran in 4th with not a loose, but extremely tight car as it was pushing up the track in the corners. The #64 cleared the #72 and would run up front for the win with the #72 coming in 2nd , Samantha 3rd, Billy 4th and Jake 10th.
