INNISFIL, Ontario – Despite falling two laps down to the leaders, Lisa DeLeeuw battled hard throughout the entire 35 lap feature to finish 19th.
DeLeeuw would escape a wreck in her heat to finish eighth, forcing her to the consolation race. She would battle hard in the 10 lap race, finishing ninth to qualify her way into the main event.
DeLeeuw would start the feature 20th as a result of her qualifying effort and battled hard from the drop of the green flag, remaining 20th as of the first and only caution at lap four.
The rest of the 35 lap feature would have no cautions, but DeLeeuw continued to battle hard, holding off those behind her to finish in the 19th spot.
