INNISFIL, Ontario – Eric Yorke would battle hard on Thursday night to post a solid 14th place finish in the Frequent Flyer 50 presented by Spencer Lewis Promotions despite being involved in an early caution.
Yorke started off the night by finishing third in his heat to automatically transfer to the main event later that night.
He would then start 10th for the 50 lap feature, though got involved into an incident right off the top with Jordan Howse. As a result, he would have to restart at the rear of the 28 car field, only one lap into the event. Yorke would begin to work his way through the traffic, running 19th as the first car one lap down at the third caution on lap 23. Once the event restart, Yorke continued to battle hard throughout the second half, passing some cars, though falling another lap down to the leaders before the end. Still, Yorke made a successful night out of it in the end, finishing 14th overall.
Special thanks to Can-Alignment Motorsports, Milton Napa Auto Parts, J&D Tire, Solex Steel, McKeown Collision, Partimer Signs and Skytec Rentals for their support.
