JR Motorsports announced on Wednesday, Nov. 5th that Regan Smith’s No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet will carry sponsorship from Fire Alarm Services, Incorporated this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.
This year marks the second year of Fire Alarm partnering with JR Motorsports. The company “provides superior Fire Life Safety and Security services and products for protecting client’s real estate investment”. Smith’s Chevrolet will be painted in the company’s retro colors as they pay tribute to the company’s hometown of Denver and its beloved professional football team this weekend with a special paint scheme.
Smith will try to better his fourth place effort from the spring event at Phoenix. In three starts with JRM at Phoenix, he has one top-five and two top-10 finishes with an average finish of 7.6.
“Phoenix is another strong racetrack for the 7 team and we need to capitalize on that,” Smith commented. “I enjoy racing out there and I think the short-track feel of that place will be a welcomed change from the past few weeks of mile-and-a-half tracks. I had one of my best runs out there last fall and hope to continue that this weekend.
“I’m also excited to be running a special paint scheme for the Fire Alarm folks. They’ve been strong supporters of our program at JR Motorsports and I would like nothing more than to get them in victory lane with the special blue and orange colors we’ll have on board this weekend.”
