NXS: Scott Lagasse, No. 19 Alert Today/Boy Scouts of America Camry Alert Today Florida 300 at Daytona International Speedway

Scott Lagasse Teams up to Deliver a Positive Message in Season Opener: Teaming up with TriStar Motorsports for the first time, Scott Lagasse will slide behind the wheel of the Alert Today / Boy Scouts of America Camry. The Saint Augustine, Fla. native will make his seventh NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the 2.5-mile speedway this Saturday. With an average start of 24.2 and an average finish of 31.5, Lagasse is looking to make a statement and share a message with all NASCAR fans across the country.


Lagasse’s thoughts on Daytona International Speedway: “I’m excited to have TriStar Motorsports and TeamSLR working together for the Alert Today Florida 300 at Daytona International Speedway,” said Lagasse. “I am looking forward to getting on the track and working with my Crew Chief Paul Clapprood and all of the guys at TriStar Motorsports. The ‘Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow‘ campaign is to raise awareness for bicyclists, pedestrians, and motorists. As an avid cyclist it’s an honor to be able to carry the ‘Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow‘ safety message.  My goal is to get everyone to just take a couple extra seconds to think about the safety of others on the road.”


No. 19 Alert Today / Boy Scouts of America Camry: Crew Chief Paul Clapprood and the No. 19 crew will unload chassis No. 2 for the first race of the 2015 season.

–       This will mark Lagasse’s 57th career NASCAR XFINITY Series start.

–       Scott Lagasse, will pull double duty this weekend as he will drive the No. 20 Alert Today Silverado in      the CWTS race for NTS Motorsports

–       Scott Lagasse will talk with Mark Moses of WSJZ on 2/19/15 at 5:15PM, ESPN The Game at                  8:15AM and Matt Nix of WMOP Racin’ Nation at 10:30AM on 2/21/15.
