Forwarding on to Fontana:
Back on track in Phoenix, Mike Bliss knocked-out his first top-20 finish of the NASCAR XFINITY Series season. With one top-10 and 12 top-20 finishes in his 15 starts at the 2-mile track in Fontana, California, Bliss and the No. 19 team are ready to build on last week’s momentum. Out of the 205 starts Bliss has made at one to two mile tracks, he has earned two wins, 20 top-five, 47 top-10 finishes and has started from the pole twice. Needless to say, Bliss has found his niche at tracks ranging from one to two-miles in length.
Bliss’ thoughts on Auto Club Speedway: “I’m hoping we can keep up the positive momentum from last weekend’s race in Phoenix. Auto Club is a great track with low banking and plenty of room to move around and race.”
No. 19 Toyota Camry: Crew Chief Paul Clapprood will unload chassis No.121 for the Drive 4 Clots 300. This chassis was last used in Phoenix where the No. 19 team earned a 20th place finish.
Additional Notes:
– This will mark Bliss’ 349th Career XFINITY Series start, which has stretched across 16-years.
– Double Duty Once Again: In addition to driving the No. 19 for TriStar Motorsports, Bliss will drive the No. 32 Ford Fusion for Go Green Racing.
