In a landmark decision for ENZED World Series Sprintcars, an agreement has been reached with Network Ten to broadcast World Series Sprintcars’ next two seasons on Channel ONE.
Channel ONE is the home of Australian and international televised motorsport, and has been involved in broadcasting all forms of motorsport, from Formula 1 to Moto GP. ENZED World Series Sprintcars has had a strong media partnership with Network Ten’s Channel ONE over the last few years, through the broadcasting major Rounds of ENZED WSS. This latest ground-breaking television agreement will see ENZED WSS run on Channel ONE until 2017, and will continue ENZED WSS’ established partnership with the leading motorsport channel in Australia.
This agreement is a ringing endorsement of ENZED World Series Sprintcars at-track and televised show. This is evident in the fact that this two year deal will also cover the broadcasting of the 2016/17 season, which will be the 30th Anniversary of ENZED World Series Sprintcars.
Speedway Australia Operations Manager, Shane Collins, noted that this contract would be great for the sport:
‘The continuation of our established partnership with ENZED World Series Sprintcars’ major media partner in Network Ten, through Channel ONE, is fantastic for both parties.’
‘Our partnership with Network Ten has been a foundational element in helping the ENZED World Series Sprintcars team deliver a great show for fans at track, and a great show through the televised broadcast with Channel ONE. This has been helped by Ten’s reputation in delivering brilliant televised shows in the motorsport industry, which is second to none.’
‘With thirteen episodes of ENZED WSS to be broadcast this season, and another thirteen episodes to be delivered during the 30th Anniversary of WSS in 2016/17, fans can be sure that they will be able to watch the most memorable moments of ENZED WSS by one of the most professional teams in televised motorsport.’
The continuation of Network Ten’s established broadcasting partnership with ENZED World Series Sprintcars adds to an already impressive list of Corporate Partnerships that have been announced for the 2015/16 WSS season.
