Starr set to rebound:
Coming off of a disappointing outcome at Richmond International Raceway, NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) driver, David Starr is set to rebound in the No. 44 Zachry Camry at Chicagoland Speedway. Starr led two laps at the 1.5-mile tri-oval during the June NXS race at the Joliet, IL based venue and this weekend will mark his third NXS race at this facility. The Texas native is also credited for having two top-10’s at Chicagoland in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and is banking on a solid NXS run in the Furious 7 300 on Saturday.
Starr’s thoughts:
“After our disappointing run in Richmond last week, I’m really looking forward to taking the Zachry Camry back to Chicagoland Speedway. The 1.5-mile track is always fun to race and I’m hoping to have a strong finish here”.
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Greg Conner and the No. 44 Zachry crew will unload chassis No.702. This chassis’ last run was at Kentucky Speedway.
