McClure Back in Orange and Blue: Eric McClure prepares to make his 14th NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway for this weekend’s VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300. The 1.5-mile track located in the foothills of Sparta, Ky. has produced four top-25 finishes for the Virginia native. His best start and finish both occurred during the fall race in 2012 when he started 24th and finished 22nd. McClure is prepared to climb back behind the wheel of the No. 24 Hefty® Camry and take on the challenging tri-oval, under the lights, Saturday night.
McClure’s thoughts on Kentucky Speedway: “I’m looking forward to Kentucky. We had a good race going in July; until we broke a shock and had to settle for where we were running. I’m hoping we can rebound with a solid result this weekend.”
