HAMILTON, Ontario — With strong runs in both of their heats, the Black Magic Racing pair are both qualified for Frostoberfest in the top-10 at Flamboro Speedway.
The first heat would see the pair do well with Bobby Tolton finishing second, followed by Tim Tolton in third.
They would then return to the track later in the night for the second heat, which started off messy. Rob Hoskins would get loose, causing him to slow up in front of the field. Bobby Tolton would then make contact with him, causing Hoskins to spin, followed by Tolton and Corcoran also spinning. When the race got restarted, the pair were both able to do well, with Bobby finishing second once again, followed by Tim in third.
With their pair of heats in the books, Bobby Tolton would be set to start third in the first twin-30 lap feature, with Tim starting seventh.
The drivers were the drivers were set to return on Saturday for the twin 30-lap features. On Saturday, though, speedway officials would decide to not run the event due to the rain in the forecast and no hydro at the track. As a result, this event will be completed on October 24. Both Toltons are expected to be in attendance to complete the back-half of the event.
