Looking back at the Dickies OSCAAR Outlaws Presented by London Recreational Racing’s season, here are some notable numbers to think about….
1 car into the catchfence, belonging to Shawn Chenoweth virtue of a scary wreck at Sauble Speedway. Thankfully, no injuries suffered by drivers or fans.
2 victories for J.R. Fitzpatrick during his first full season as a competitor, with both coming at Peterborough Speedway.
2 straight Don Biederman Memorial victories for Kevin Cornelius, notably at two different tracks. Sunset Speedway in 2014, Flamboro Speedway in 2015
3rd place finish in points for 2015 Rookie of the Year Sean Grosman. Notably, he has a best finish of fourth on three different occasions in 2015.
4 drivers score three or more heat victories in 2015 – Glenn Watson (4), Cornelius (1o), Todd Campbell (3) and Fitzpatrick (7).
4 drivers scored five or more feature top-fives in 2015 – Watson (5), Cornelius (8), Fitzpatrick (6) and Kelly Balson (6)
4 drivers scored a series-leading eight top-10s in 2015 – Watson, Cornelius, Corey Jones and Shane Gowan.
4 blown motors during the opening weekend of the season got things off to a rocky note. Those blown motors belonged to Chenoweth, Derrick Tiemersma, Tyler Hawn and Watson.
5 straight races that Cornelius and Fitzpatrick finished 1-2. They would finish 1-2 in points.
6 feature top-10s by Roy Passer en route to finishing seventh in points.
